Our Community Garden has been providing fresh produce to the local community since 2017. We started as a small group of passionate gardeners and have grown into a thriving community of like-minded individuals. In 2024, we received the USDA "People's Choice Award" and in 2025, we received a Farm number from the USDA.
Our mission is to cultivate a thriving, sustainable community garden that addresses food insecurity and environmental stewardship through shared knowledge, teamwork, and engagement. We aim to grow fresh, organic grown produce, foster connections, and educate residents of all ages the benefits of gardening and healthy eating.
Our garden features a wide variety of vegetables that include tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, collards, kale, carrots and more. We also have a patio with a covered pergola for scheduled events from Spring to Fall. Check our events in 2026..
Good & Plenty Garden (GPG) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in the Chicago Austin community. GPG promotes healthy eating by growing organic vegetables, which annually helps feed 175 families. EIN: 99-2314761
